Amid climate crisis and conflict, calls grow for finding remedy to global maladies

2023 has been a year marked by significant global events that have captured the attention of people around the world. From natural disasters to environmental concerns and regional tensions, here's a roundup of major incidents witnessed across the globe.

Extreme weather events took center stage. From hurricanes to unprecedented heat waves and wildfires, the world witnessed alarming effects of climate change. These events serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need for global action to address climate crisis and protect vulnerable communities.

As the turmoil in Ukraine continued, another conflict erupted in the Gaza Strip. The conflict has led to the loss of more than 21,110 lives, plunging the region into chaos and prompting urgent appeals from the international community for peace.
