In 2023, the world's total crude steel production was 1.89 billion metric tons, reported Askic.com based on the 2023 Global Crude Steel Production by the World Steel Association, which covers 71 economies.

The World Steel Association is one of the largest and most dynamic industry associations in the world, with members in every major steel-producing economies.

Here are the top 10 economies produced most crude steel in the world last year.
