An ethnic performance team from Congjiang county, Qiandongnan Maio and Dong autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was invited to Macao to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year over the Spring Festival holiday.

Along with 32 other domestic and international performance teams, the Miao and Dong performers walked in front of the flower parade and proudly showed off Congjiang culture to Macao and the rest of the world.

Since being paired up in May last year, the government and social institutions of Macao have signed nine agreements to assist with the development of Congjiang's industries, education, medical care and tourism.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administration Region. The special region will take full advantage of its strengths to promote the culture and tourist attractions of Congjiang around the world.
