      蚜科昆虫的 1种。主要异名有桃赤蚜、桃瘤蚜。多食性。寄主有蔷薇科、十字花科、茄科、锦葵科、旋花科、葫芦科、藜科等数百种植物。分布普遍。为桃、烟草、油菜、芝麻、十字花科蔬菜、中草药和温室植物的大害虫,常造成卷叶和减产。可传带马铃薯卷叶病和甜菜黄花网病等上百科植物病毒。
  
  无翅孤雌蚜体长 2.2毫米。活体淡黄绿、乳白色、赭赤色、有横皱或微刺网纹构造(见图)。额瘤显著内倾。腹部第8节有毛4根。触角为体长的4/5,第3~6节长度比例为100:80:64:30+108。喙末节约与后跗节第2节等长。 跗节第1节毛序为3,3,2。腹管圆筒形,稍长于触角第3节。尾片有毛6或7根。有翅孤雌蚜腹部第1~2节有横行小横斑或窄横带,第3~6节有一背中大斑,第7~8节皆有横带。第2~4节各有1对缘斑,斑上有缘瘤。 第7~8节各有小背中瘤。触角第3节有次生小圆感觉圈9~11个,排成1行。
  
  在中国北方以受精卵在桃树枝条上越冬。在風障植物、菜窖、温室植物上或在中国南方,以成虫和若虫越冬。每年可以孤雌胎生20余代,秋末发生性蚜,交配产卵越冬。多数世代无翅,每年发生有翅蚜4或5次。春季有翅蚜从桃树迁飞到烟草和蔬菜等植物上,夏季发生2~3 次有翅蚜,在烟草和蔬菜等植物间扩散,秋末发生有翅性母(雌性蚜之母)和雄蚜从烟草、蔬菜等迁飞到桃树上。
