| 表面活性剂 surfactant 一类具有表面活性的化合物。溶于液体（特别是水）后，能显著降低溶液的表面张力或界面张力，并能改进溶液的增溶、乳化、分散、渗透、润湿、发泡和洗净等能力。主要用于制作合成洗涤剂、乳化剂、破乳剂、渗透剂、发泡剂、消泡剂、润湿剂、分散剂、浮选剂、柔软剂、抗静电剂、防水剂等助剂。广泛用于纺织、食品、医药、农药、化妆品、建筑、采矿等工业领域。表面活性剂具有共同的特点，即分子中同时存在亲水基和亲油基（又称疏水基）。亲水基通常是溶于水后容易电离的基团，如羧酸盐、磺酸盐、硫酸酯盐等，以及在水中不电离的羟基或聚氧乙烯基。亲油基能与油类互相吸引、溶解，通常是由石油或油脂组成的长碳链的烃基，可以是脂肪烃，也可以是芳香烃。亲水基性能强，就溶解于水，反之，亲油基性能强，就溶于油。表面活性剂溶于水后，能生成单分子膜和胶束，其分子在水中能自动定向吸附于水溶液-空气的界面处，亲水基伸向水溶液，亲油基伸向空气，分子通过界面吸附形成的单分子膜在界面处起着隔离作用 ，使空气和水溶液的接触面显著减少，因此，水溶液的表面张力急剧下降。表面活性剂通常按离子类型分为离子型（溶于水后电离成离子）、非离子型（溶于水不电离）。 |
