性质：由大肠杆菌培养液提取的L-天(门)冬酰胺基水解酶，白色粉末，略有吸湿性。溶于水，不溶于丙酮、氯仿、乙醚及甲醇。水溶液20℃贮存7天或5℃贮存14天均不失活；干品50℃15min活力降低30％，60℃ 1h内失活。一种酶类抗肿瘤药物。它催化天冬酰胺水解产生天冬氨酸和氨。急性淋巴细胞白血病患者缺乏天冬酰胺合成酶，不能合成天冬酰胺，如果把天冬酰胺酶注射于血中，影响肿瘤组织中天冬酰胺供应，致使蛋白合成不能顺利进行，使肿瘤消退。这种治疗对小鼠的急性淋巴细胞白血病确实有效，但对人的同样的白血病，尚未达到所希望的效果。此外，目前发现多种正常细胞对天冬酰胺酶也是敏感的，可引起相应的不良反应。
