性质:又称物理交联IPN或共混IPN,是将两种物理交联(含有玻璃化微区、结晶微区或离子微区之一种)的热塑性聚合物结合到一起而形成的聚合物材料。含玻璃化微区的聚合物如PS嵌段共聚物如SBS,SIS等,含结晶微区的聚合物如聚酯、聚已内酯、聚醚类的TPU和CPE,TPA等;含离子微区的聚合物有磺化EPDM离聚体以及它与PE,PP,PVC,SBS等分别共混得到的TPE离聚体、丙烯酸酯络合离聚体等。热塑性互穿聚合物网络的特点是存在物理交联键,能在常温下存在,也能在高温下解离,成为黏流态,有利于挤出,注射成型。合成方法有两种途径:(1)两种聚合物在熔融状态下机械共混;(2)化学混合,将单体II溶胀到聚合物I中(或将聚合物I分散到单体II中),使II就地聚合,热塑性复杂的精密零件、电子元件、汽车保险杠、减震器零件、齿轮、套管及电线电缆等。
