   烯烃的聚合物。由于原料丰富,价格低廉,容易加工成型,综合性能优良,因此是一类产量最大 ,应用十分广泛的高分子材料。其中以聚乙烯、聚丙烯最为重要。另有产量较小的高级烯烃聚合物如:
    聚1-丁烯  1-丁烯的聚合物。主要以气相聚合制备。熔融温度135℃,密度0.91克/厘米3,常温放置能发生晶型转变。可用挤出、吹塑和注射等工艺加工成管、板、薄膜及纤维。由于其耐蠕变和耐应力开裂性能突出,常作-25~100℃下使用的管道材料。
    聚4-甲基-1-戊烯 4-甲基-1-戊烯的聚合物。以定向聚合方法制备。熔融温度约240℃,密度0.83克/厘米3,为最轻的高分子,透明度高,绝缘性、耐腐蚀性好,透气率高(为聚乙烯的10倍),但耐冲击、应力开裂和光氧老化性能较差。可用注射和挤出方法加工。用于制造光学仪器、化学和医疗器具、电子器件和绝缘材料、气体分离膜和包装材料、纤维等。
