石梅湾
石梅湾位于万宁县东南部，距县城30公里。东经110．5度，北纬18．5度，以石梅湾为中心30平方公里的范围分布有东山岭、兴隆温泉、太阳河、神州半岛、大洲岛、日月湾、杨梅湾等几个已开发和待开发的旅游区。洚南岛东线光纤通讯系统远见划中石梅湾也被列为中心站。石梅湾的地理位置及交通、通讯的中枢作用确立了其作为海南省东南海岸线旅游中心区的位置。石梅湾是一片原始的南国景观，三面环山，一面向海，山形秀美，石梅湾长长的海滩两端，各向海中伸出两座峰峦。湾内植被繁茂，有大片椰林、橡胶等热带作物，椰树槟榔，相映成趣。白沙碧海，蓝天流云，自成画卷，更有青梅翠带，溪流湖泊，秀屿奇石，细浪柔沙，美不胜收。港湾平时风平浪静，滨海沙滩长约7公里，近百米内水深不过3米。这里四季无冬，阳光充足，空气清新，适合观兴游览，长假疗养；这里水清沙纯，风平浪静，适合开发成一个以世界热带"海洋文化"为主题的海上游乐、旅游度假区。对面三角区不远处有一秀丽的岛叫加井岛。岛边浪花簇拥，白鸥点点；岛上奇花异草，岩石千姿百态。沙滩上天然生长着世界上仅存面积最大的珍稀林木——青皮林（1.4万亩）,在清朝就受到保护和重视，光绪27年的“奉官立禁”碑,现尚立于滨海沙滩上。这里已被列为国家级自然保护区。
