性质:用正交表安排多因素试验的方法。20世纪40年代,正交试验设计法首先应用于农业中,50年代推广到工业领域,中国60年代开始应用这一方法。用正交表安排试验的优点是,相对于全面试验而言,正交试验只是部分试验,但对其中任何两因素来说,它又是具有相同重复次数的全面试验,试验工作量减少了,但得到的试验结果仍能基本上反映全面情况,此外,还可以考察因素之间的交互效应和估计试验误差。
