| 乙丙橡胶 ethylene-propylene rubber 以乙烯和丙烯为主要单体共聚而成的合成橡胶。英文缩写EPR。如果聚合物中只含乙烯和丙烯单元，称乙丙二元橡胶（EPM），如果再含一种非共轭双烯第三单元，称乙丙三元橡胶(EPT或EPDM)。EPM需用过氧化物交联，EPT则可按常规方法硫化。乙丙橡胶主链上不含不饱和双链，因此是最耐老化、耐臭氧的橡胶，并具有优良的绝缘性、耐高温、耐化学和耐磨性，但硫化性、粘合性差，不耐撕裂。 乙丙橡胶一般在齐格勒-纳塔催化剂作用下溶液聚合而成、用钒系催化剂（如三氯氧钒）可得到乙烯和丙烯单元分布均匀的橡胶。如用钛系催化剂，链中有一种单体的长序列，能部分结晶而降低了弹性体性能。催化剂中加入活化剂（有机卤化物、偶氮苯等）可大幅度提高催化效率。此外，本体悬浮聚合方法也已工业化，产物固体含量高。EDT的第三单体如双环戊二烯、亚乙基降冰片烯等。后者可使EPT的硫化速率与丁苯橡胶相仿。 乙丙橡胶主要用于电线电缆、汽车门窗密封条和耐热部件、耐热传送带、水龙带，水坝池塘护面、防水衬底、吸震桥墩、轨垫、轮胎胎侧及各种日用、工业橡胶制品。与双烯橡胶并用可提高耐候性。与聚丙烯共混可改进其低温脆性并增韧。低分子量乙丙橡胶用作润滑油降凝剂和某些高级电容器的密封剂。 |
