| 围海造田 poldering of seashore 在海滩或浅海上筑围堤隔离外部海水，并排和抽干围堤内的水使成为陆地的工程。又称围涂。它为农业、工业、交通、外贸等的发展提供了场所。围海造田可孤立浅海中形成人工岛，但多数是与大陆海岸相连，或在岸线以外的滩涂上直接筑堤围涂，或先在港湾口门上筑堤堵港，然后再在港湾内部滩涂上筑堤围涂。围海造田工程基本设施包括围堤及其上的排水闸或排水站，以及围堤内的排水系统。当排水闸内水高、外水低时，开闸排水；当内水低、外水高时，关闸挡潮，必要时使用抽排。在陆地形成后，堤内排水系统要及时排除涝水，保持适宜的地下水位。当用于农业种植时，要洗淋土壤盐分和布置灌溉渠系适时灌溉，也可种植水稻或耐盐作物。中国有水深10米以内的浅海滩涂约1005万公顷。1949年至80年代末，江苏、浙江、福建、广东等10省市围海造田约53.6万公顷。 |
