性质:又称组织胺,β-氨乙基咪唑。白色结晶。熔点83~84℃。沸点209~210℃(2.40kPa)。组胺由组氨酸脱羧基形成,广泛分布在哺乳动物的组织中,尤其在肥大细胞及有关嗜碱性白细胞内(在变态反应中肥大细胞释放出组胺)。可以组氨酚为原料发酵制得。它是变态反应的药理介质,能引起血管扩张、毛细血管通透性增加、平滑肌收缩。支气管平滑肌收缩能使动物呼吸困难,并能刺激胃液分泌。在体内,组胺为组胺酶和咪唑-N-甲基转羧酶所灭活。在中枢神经系统中的某些部位,特别是下丘脑含有组胺,它存在于突触体内,可能是中枢神经的一种介质。它还可能与外周神经的感觉及传导有密切关系。
