Enhancement of construction safety of 240m wet stack through innovation of devices

The chemical composition,acid=proof corrosion property,physical and welding performance of two materials used in wet stack anticorrosion are compared and analyzed.

To probe into the feasibility of wet stack emission and related issues for flue gas wet emission, numerical simulation technique was adopted to analyze the flow field in the stack and out of the stack (without GGH).

By combining the experience in design of wet chimney anti-corrosion with the FGD reconstruction of the old chimney in China in recent years,the author puts forward the main considerations in FGD renovation of the old chimneys and suggests that the proper anti-corrosion options should be taken depending on the actual conditions of the old chimneys.
