性质：污泥脱水机械的一种。它由两条平行的过滤带组成，一条过滤带置于另一条过滤带的上面，互相压挤，并以同一方向运动。将调理后的污泥加到两条过滤带的中间，污泥缓慢脱水，水从下面一条过滤带上的孔隙中流出。污泥在过滤带上有3个作业区：(1)借助重力作用脱水的排水区；(2)辊和上面过滤带接触对污泥施加压力的加压区；(3)用剪力促使污泥最后脱水的剪力区。然后，用刮板将滤带上脱水后的泥饼刮除。压滤饼含固体20％～30％。此法的优点是可处理真空过滤难以脱水的化学污泥，可连续运行，设备单机生产能力较大，占地面积较小；缺点是滤布价格较贵，维修频繁而且较麻烦。不适宜处理含油污泥，因含油污泥易使滤布起“防水”作用，而且有在设备上蠕变(滤饼从侧面被挤出)的危险。
