尼格里(1888~1953)
Niggli,Paul

   瑞士矿物学家。苏联科学院通讯院士。1912年获苏黎世大学博士学位。曾任莱比锡大学、蒂宾根大学、苏黎世大学教授,瑞士矿物和岩石学学会主席等。尼格里运用数学晶体学的原理和方法以及实验X射线技术,首先提出一套用X射线数据推定晶体空间群的完整方案。他发展了传统的标准矿物计算法,提出“分子数值法”,简化了火成岩化学和矿物成分的计算。他利用物理化学原理解释金属矿床的矿物共生规律,指出挥发组分对岩浆中金属聚集的作用,提出了金属矿床的成因分类。著有《岩石变质作用》、《矿物学和结晶学教程》、《岩石和矿床》等。
