C一hUQ beish00磁化焙烧(magenetizing roasting)加热矿物原料在低于其熔点和一定气氛中使弱磁性铁矿物转变为强磁性铁矿物的熔烧方法,属磁选分离、富集的预处理作业。原料中的弱磁性铁矿物是赤铁矿、菱铁矿、褐铁矿、黄铁矿,生成的强磁性铁矿物为磁铁矿、y-FeZO3、磁硫铁矿。 磁化焙烧的气氛随矿石种类而异。赤铁矿于823K温度下在还原气氛下转变为磁铁矿,褐铁矿(ZFeZO3·3H20)脱水后也被还原成磁铁矿。菱铁矿、菱镁铁矿和含菱铁矿与赤铁矿之比大于1的混合矿石,在中性气氛和573一673K温度下,碳酸亚铁分解生成磁铁矿和能使赤铁矿还原成磁铁矿的一氧化碳。当混合矿石中的菱铁矿:赤铁矿<1时,需先使菱铁矿在氧化气氛中分解氧化成赤铁矿,再在还原气氛下还原成磁铁矿。 磁化焙烧也有将生成的磁铁矿在非氧化气氛中冷却到573一673K温度,再送入空气氧化磁铁矿成强磁性的赤铁矿(不FeZO3)的。这个反应产生的热量很大,可明显降低焙烧的燃料消耗。 黄铁矿磁化焙烧在钢铁冶金中有较大的实际意义,一般在大型回转窑中进行焙烧。控制供氧量可将黄铁矿精矿氧化成强磁性的磁硫铁矿或磁铁矿。黄铁矿精矿流态化氧化焙烧成磁铁矿、502烟气制酸的工艺已为斯堪的纳维亚半岛中的某些工厂采用。有色金属冶金中也有应用磁化焙烧一磁选工艺的。如含钦错矿石在1127K温度下经还原磁化焙烧后,含钦的金红石矿物的磁化率提高了24~49倍,经磁选可产出金红石、错石两种精矿。 (夏忠让)
