[解释]:  核弹的威力与器质量的比值。是衡量核弹设计水平的一个概略指标。通常用“吨梯恩梯当量/千克”作为计量单位。一般说来,核弹能做得小(或者轻)而威力大,既便于运载工具携带,又有较大的破坏力,就体现出较高的设计水平。美国第一颗枪法原子弹“小男孩”的比威力约为3吨梯恩梯当量A千克,第一颗内爆法原子弹“胖子”的比威力约为4.5吨梯恩梯当量/千克,威力在10万吨梯恩梯当量以上的现代热核武器,比威力一般为1000—3000吨梯恩梯当量/千克,低威力的战术核武器的比威力一般为4—100吨梯恩梯当量/千克。比威力指标对威力大致相当、类型基本相同的核武器进行设计水平比较时是很有效的。但对威力差别较大的核弹之间进行比较时就存在较大的缺陷。此外,“比威力”或“比等效百万吨数”并不是衡量核弹设计水平的唯一指标,随着武器的制导精度、动机、突防等性能的提高,核弹重量需要增加,这些指标的量值将可能增长缓慢或甚至下降。
