南方红壤丘陵水土流失(中国科学院综考会供稿)tudi tuihua土地退化(landde脚dation)土地受自然力或人类不合理开发利用导致土地质量下降、生产力衰退的过程。干早、洪水、大风、暴雨、海潮等自然力，可导致土地沙化(参见彩图插页第29页)、流失、盐碱化等;人类不适当的开垦、砍伐，不合理的种植制度和灌溉，耕地施肥不足，城市废弃物污染，农药、化肥、除草剂使用不当，等等，会引起土地沙化、土壤侵蚀、土地盐碱化、土地潜育化、土地沼泽化、土地肥力下降、土地污染、草场退化等。土地退化不仅使土地质量下降，生产力衰退，甚至使其失去使用价值。为了维护人类的生存空间，必须积极地防治土地退化。要防治土地退化，必须合理开发和利用土地，并对已退化土地进行综合治理。应制定整治规划，把长远利益与当前利益结合起来。在治理措施上，主要有工程措施、生物措施和农业技术措施等。(杨美英)
