 (术语)[8744]U,悉昙五十字门之一。十二母韵之第三音。又作乌、欧、郁、忧、于、嗢、瓯、郁、优、有、伪、温、邬、佛、盂。金刚顶经字母品曰:“坞字门,一切法譬喻不可得故。”文殊问经字母品曰:“称坞(上)字时,是多种逼迫声。”大庄严经四曰:“唱乌(上声)字时,出世间诸恼乱事声。”涅槃经八曰:“郁者,于诸经中,最上最胜。增长上上谓大涅槃。”譬喻不可得者,自Upama(譬喻)释之。逼迫及恼乱者,自Upadrava释之。
