性质:样品经色谱分离后经适当的接口装置引入质谱仪的离子源,接受质谱仪的检测,经计算机处理后可分别得到总离子流色谱图、质量色谱图、质谱图等,并通过计算机检索系统,和计算机内的谱库进行比较,给出标准质谱图、分子式和分子量等信息,在无标准谱图时,可与类似化合物谱图对照,做出合理的推断。色谱柱出口处于常压,而质谱仪则要求在高真空下工作,因此接口装置是关键。它综合了色谱的高分离能力和质谱很强的结构鉴定能力,是复杂混合物分析的有效的手段之一。它以保留时间的重现性的要求并不像GC那样高,进行一次试验全部数据都可以收集储存,除当时定性定量外,随时可供检索作进一步分析。适合于多组分混合物中未知组分的定性鉴定,可以判断化合物的分子结构,准确地测定未知组分的相对分子量,还可修正色谱分析的错误判断,对于分离不好的峰或色谱峰不甚显著的组分,利用计算机内的数据系统也可以进行鉴定和定量,是目前痕量有机物结构定性的最有效的分析手段。由于计算机内有大量的质谱图和数据库,使分析效率提高。广泛应用于有机合成、石油化学、生物化学、药物化学和环境化学等各个领域。
