亚硝酸钙的分子式Ca(NO2)2，是由亚硝酸钠与石灰乳反应或亚硝酸钠与硝酸钙溶液反应制得．白色或淡黄色六方形结晶，纯度大于90％。溶于水，微溶于醇。有潮解性．具有防腐、防冻、速凝、增强等作用。在混凝土中添加2％的亚硝酸钙，可避免钢筋的化学历蚀，而使桥梁使用寿命延长15～20年，压缩强度增加10～25MPa。亚硝酸钙还能降低砂桨和混凝土的冰点，并有早强作用。亚硝酸钙的防冻和阻锈性能优于亚硝酸钠。
