性质:又名二甲氧联苯胺,3,3′-二甲氧基-4,4′-二氨基联苯(3,3′-dimethoxy-4,4′-diaminobiphenyl)。白色叶状晶体,在空气中带有紫色光泽。熔点137℃。溶于醇、醚、丙酮、苯;不溶于水。其盐类一般易溶于水,但硫酸盐难溶。用作氧化还原指示剂(亚铁氰化物滴定锌);显色鉴定铜、金、钒;定量测定亚硝酸盐、金;合成染料中间体。
