Based on comprehensive analysis of gas occurrence conditions of Qinglong Colliery in Guizhou,the control action of region evolvement,lithological characters of roof and floor,buried depth of coal seam and tectonic on gas occurrence and burst was discussed with the analysis of gas content,pressure and coal and gas burst in depth.

After about ten years mining,a large mine void was formed in the subterranean Longdong Cave coal mine,and this condition resulted in the drying up of some springs due to large amounts of groundwater drainage.

The coal-bearing strata in the Longfeng coalmine belong to Upper Permian Longtan Formation,a set of limnic-marine alternating deposit.
