这件清康熙青花五彩雉鸡牡丹纹凤尾尊，高45厘米，口径22.7厘米，足径14.7厘米。形体高大，艳美，口部形状犹如凤鸟的羽翅一般，又有“凤尾尊”之称。尊的上下两部均由山石牡丹雉鸡组成的画面，用“水皴”法表现山石，用红、绿、黄、赭等彩渲染雉鸡牡丹和飞鸟。
画面中山石偃仰错落，雉鸡栖于石上，神态盎然，被陪衬的花卉以折枝牡丹为主，牡丹花朵有的含苞待放，有的盛开，在空白间点缀二只雀鸟作飞鸟之势。整个画面呈现自由舒展，真切灵活的艺术效果。是康熙青花五彩中稀有艺术珍品。
