性质:又称分子筛催化剂。天然沸石为一族含水的硅铝酸盐矿物,含有碱金属和碱土金属,具架状结构,其中有连通的空腔。为大的金属阳离子和水分子所占据,是三维的四面体骨架。人工合成沸石称为分子筛。硅(和或铝)-氧环可以形成不同的笼结构,由不同数量和种类的笼即可形成不同类型的分子筛。分子筛是一种水合的硅铝酸盐晶体,其化学组成通式为:(M是金属离子,n是M的价数,m、p分别是SiO2和H2O的摩尔量),因分子中Si/Al比不同,可以有A、X、Y及丝光沸石型分子筛。分子筛具有酸碱中心,可用于酸碱催化反应,此即为沸石(或分子筛)催化剂。最著名的还有ZSM-5分子筛催化剂。广泛用于催化裂化等石油加工过程和气体、液体的分离、回收、干燥、脱水等工业过程。
