      一般指采用适当的分析方法求出高纯度物质(如高纯金属、高纯材料、高纯气体等)的纯度而言。测纯度的方法可分为两种:①直接测定法,例如用电解法测定纯金属的纯度,用重量法测定纯物质的纯度等。由于纯度的百分率数值较大,对有效的位数要求也多,因此,测定方法必须是高精度和高准确度的,这样就使高纯物质的纯度测定受到了限制。②间接测定法,它是用高准确度、高灵敏度的方法测定高纯物质中的各种杂质含量,然后从待测物质中减去所测杂质总量的百分率作为该高纯物质的纯度。对高纯物质的纯度测定,目前多采用此方法。测定高纯物质中杂质的方法甚多,较常用的有:紫外-可见分光光度法、原子吸收光谱法、原子发射光谱法、电化学分析法等。
