      利用齿轮式或蜗杆式珩轮对淬火圆柱齿轮进行精加工的齿轮加工机床。珩齿机是按螺旋齿轮啮合原理工作的,由珩轮带动工件自由旋转。珩轮一般由塑料和磨料制成。珩齿(见齿轮加工)的作用是降低齿面粗糙度,在一定程度上也能纠正齿向和齿形的局部误差。珩齿生产效率较高。珩齿机广泛应用于汽车、拖拉机和机床等制造业。珩齿机按所用珩轮的型式分为两种。①齿轮珩轮珩齿机:它的结构布局近似于剃齿机,分为珩轮位于工件上面和珩轮位于工件后面两种型式。加工时珩轮与工件呈交叉轴啮合状态,工件由珩轮带动旋转,同时工作台作纵向往复移动。工作台每一往复行程,珩轮反向一次,从而加工出齿的全长和两齿侧面。②蜗杆珩轮珩齿机:它的结构布局近似于蜗杆砂轮磨齿机,但在蜗杆珩轮和工件之间没有传动链联系,由前者带动后者作自由旋转。(见彩图)
