本文采用效率分析的前沿技术--随机前沿分析(Stochastic Frontier Approach,SFA)对我国4家国有商业银行和10家股份制商业银行1996-2001年的X非效率和规模效率进行了分析,研究表明四大国有银行的效率较低,上市银行的效率较高,国有银行与股份制银行的效率差距不断减少;中国银行业存在着轻微的规模不经济,国有银行显著规模不经济,股份制银行存在规模经济。

利用测量技术效率的随机前沿分析法和BC92模型，测算了1978——2005年问我国28个省份的技术效率，并且沿用Parsley和Wei(2000，2001)的价格指数分析方法，计算了1986——2005年间我国28个省份的市场分割程度，在此基础上建立了一个面板数据模型，定量分析了我国市场分割对地区技术效率的影响。
