| 蝶啶 pteridine 吡嗪和嘧啶并联而成的二杂环化合物。分子式C6H4N4 。它的衍生物是多种蝴蝶翅上的色素，最普通的黄蝶啶是黄蝴蝶的色素，即2-氨基-4，6-二羟基蝶啶，红蝴蝶的色素是异黄蝶啶，即2-氨基-4，7-二羟基蝶啶。淡黄色片状晶体。熔点139～140℃。溶于水和乙醇。黄蝶啶在酸性溶液中呈现红色荧光 ，在弱碱溶液内发出蓝色荧光。自然界存在的蝶啶，以含有氨基和羟基的取代衍生物最重要，它们一般很难溶于有机溶剂，但溶于稀盐酸和氢氧化钠溶液，这是由于分子中含有酸性的羟基和碱性的氨基的缘故。天然的蝶啶一般不容易发生化学反应，特别是吡嗪部分更为稳定。
