山西省建筑装饰工程学校，93年经教委批准成立，由山西省建筑集团装饰工程总公司主办，是融计算机工艺美术、装饰装潢和平面广告、制版印刷为一体的实用型中等专业学校。98年经省建委批准该校为“建筑装饰职业技能岗位二级资质鉴定站”，并被运城行署劳动局、地区工会命名为“运城地区国有企业下岗职工再就业定点培训单位”。99年省劳动厅授予“国企下岗职工再就业培训示范单位”。2000年又被国家劳动部认定为“全国计算机信息高新技术osta培训考试站”。2000年4月《运城日报》“以科技兴校人才旺，一技之长方吃香”为题，报导了我校学生未毕业已“抢购”一空的事迹，引起社会各界的极大关注，受到学生家长的一致赞同。2002年荣获三部委“毕业生安置就业先进单位”。2004年被运城市劳动和社会保障局评为“全市技工教育先进单位”。办学质量有目共睹，毕业生供不应求，有口皆碑。
“计算机装潢设计”和“计算机应用”在山西和周边省份颇有影响，是就业门路广、社会效益佳的21世纪热门专业。现已安置就业1800余名。
