This paper discusses the characteristics,degradation,persistence and bioavailability of main termiticides such as chlordane,mirex,chlorpyrifos,bifenthrin and imidacloprid according to relative published information to provides a theoretical basis for understanding and predicting the longevity or persistence of these termiticides to control termites.
