性质:把有害气体的温度提高到足以进行氧化分解反应温度的净化方法。此法主要用于净化空气中所含有机溶剂蒸气,使之分解氧化变成无害的二氧化碳和水。热力燃烧用于可燃的有机质含量较低的废气的净化处理。这类废气往往只含有极少量的有机物质,由于废气本身不可燃料,废气中可燃组分经过燃烧氧化,虽也可产生热量,但热值很低,不能靠此维持燃烧。在热力燃烧中,要净化的废气不是作为燃烧所用的燃料,而是在含氧量足够时作为助燃气体,当不含氧时只为焚烧对象而已。废气用热力燃烧法来净化时并无火焰,是依靠提高温度的方法,把废气中可燃的有害组分氧化毁掉。提高温度需要辅料,辅料燃烧时会有火焰。
