性质:针状或片状结晶。熔点75℃,65.8℃(不稳定型),相对密度1.636(99.1/4℃),折光率1.536(99.1℃)。溶于醇、醚和热水,极微溶于冷水。

制备方法:由邻苯二甲酰亚胺还原而得。将锌粉投入氢氧化钠溶液中,冷却至5℃以下,加入硫酸铜溶液,在搅拌下慢慢加入邻苯二甲酰亚胺,控制温度不超过8℃,加毕,在5-8℃保温1.5h。升温排氨3h,冷却,过滤,滤液用浓盐酸中和至pH=1,加热煮沸1h,搅拌冷却结晶,过滤,水洗至中性,低温干燥,得含量95%的苯酞,收率80%。

用途:用作精细化学品的中间体。用于生产染料中间体1,4-二氯蒽醌、1-氯蒽醌,抗凝血药苯基茚满二酮,杀菌剂四氯苯酞,抗焦虑药多虑平等。
