性质：又称延胡索乙素，四氢巴马亭。有左旋、右旋及消旋体(见各该条)。药用为白色结晶性粉末，无臭，味略苦，熔点147℃。由邻二甲氧基苯为原料制得。为镇痛药。有镇痛、镇静、催眠及安定作用，镇痛作用比一般解热镇痛药强，但不及哌替啶。适用于胃肠、肝胆系统疾患的钝痛、分娩止痛，也用于暂时性失眠。制剂有片剂，注射剂。注意：孕妇慎用。副作用偶有眩晕恶心，大剂量对呼吸中枢有一定抑制作用，有时可引起锥体外系症状。
