    (沿阶草、麦门冬)
    形态特征:百合科沿阶草属多年生草本植物。根较粗,膨大成椭圆状、纺锤形的小块根。地下匍匐茎细长。茎短。叶基生成密丛,木叶状,长10-50厘米。总状花序轴长2-5厘米,具8-10朵花,花白色或淡紫色。种子球形。
    生境分布:生于海拔2000米以下山坡林下或溪旁等。分布于除华北、东北、西北外的其他各省区。
    用途:块根为常用中草药,为缓和滋养强壮药。还可用于园林花坛绿化植物。
