      担子菌亚门的 1纲。本纲真菌担子果通常发育良好,子实层由一堆平行排列的担子及其他不孕结构(如囊状体等)组成,在担子果或子实体成熟前或成熟后暴露于外。担孢子成熟后,自动地从担子上掷射出去。
  
  依据担子有无分隔,本纲下分 2亚纲:担子有横隔或纵隔的为有隔担子菌亚纲,属于这一亚纲的有银耳目、木耳目和隔担菌目。担子没有隔膜的为无隔担子菌亚纲,包括外担菌目、座担菌目、花耳目、胶膜菌目、多孔菌目和伞菌目。共9目约750属,其中包括不少有食用价值和药用价值的大型真菌,还有一些是有毒的菌类。少数种类与植物或昆虫共生。
