| 奥斯本（1929～ ） Osborne，John James 英国剧作家。生于1929 年12月12日。其父是美术设计师，母亲是酒吧女侍。父死后，靠保险金入德文郡贝尔蒙特学校读书。1948年参加旅行剧团为演员，与同事A.克莱顿合写过《私敌》、《乔治·迪仑的墓志铭》两个剧本，但直至奥斯本以其 《愤怒的回顾》成名后才得演出。其他剧作有《喜剧演员》、音乐剧《保罗·斯里奇的世界》、电视剧《丑闻问题与牵连》、《路德》、《不能接受的证词》、《我心目中的爱国者》、《可敬的保证人》、《当今之时》、《阿姆斯特丹旅馆》、《苏伊士以西》、《超然的感觉》、《吉尔与杰克》等。1958年获纽约剧评界最佳编剧奖。 |
