This paper introduces the specifications and structure innovations of the DGSC―203 type hydro-efflux hammer which is designed recently.

The specifications of the hydro-efflux hammer are defined on drilling condition, and then on the basis of mathematical model set up by a lot of experimental data, the structure parameters are optimistically designed.

The experimental results of the hydro-efflux hammer indicate that it has good application potential and good application prospects.

In this paper, authors analyze the characteristics of hydro efflux DTH hammer, expound its applying significance and feasibility in detail in the field of oil and gas exploration, and demonstate the structure and the operating principle of the hydro efflux DTH hammer that we have designed for drilling oil and gas well.
