    糠酸为白色单斜菱状晶体,6.67-8.0kPa下于130-140℃升华。熔点133-134℃,沸点230-232℃/101.3kPa、141-144℃/2.67kPa。25℃时K=7.6×10-4。糠酸易溶于乙醇和乙醚,在水中则部分溶解;26ml冷水(15℃)或4ml沸水可溶解糠酸1g。
    用途;糠酸主要用于合成呋脲青霉素和头孢噻呋(Ceftiofur)等,是用途极广的医药及染料中间体。
