性质:系由乙烯与环戊二烯经Diels-Alder加成反应制得的降冰片烯再经开环聚合得到的规整性弹性体。外观为可膨胀白色粉末,粒度0.05~0.8mm,玻璃化温度为35℃,增塑后可降至-60℃,是一种低熔点热塑性弹性体。降冰片烯的开环聚合采用钌、锇和铱盐引发剂,如RuCl3,OsCl3,IrCl3等。在采用RUCl3作引发剂、以乙醇为溶剂进行开环聚合时,聚合温度80℃,聚合时间6.5h,单体转化率60%,聚合物熔点72~90℃。降冰片烯的开环聚合也可采用以钨为基础的三元或二元引发剂。聚降冰片烯橡胶用于密封、异型件和胶辊外层胶等软质制品,高减震阻尼性是聚降冰片烯橡胶的突出性能,在汽车、铁路、航海、建筑、体育用品方面制作防震、减轻噪音的橡胶部件。
