性质： 自动排出式疏水阀的一种。间歇操作。其主要结构是外壳中有一浮杯(图暂缺)。当冷凝水进入并积聚于外壳与浮杯间的空隙处时，冷凝水将浮杯托起。此时固定于浮杯上的杆将活门关闭，当冷凝水积聚很多而达到浮杯上边缘时，冷凝水开始溢流入浮杯中，等杯内冷凝水盛至一定高度后，浮杯下沉，同时开启活门，此时冷凝水即由套管经单向活门而排出。浮杯在排出一定量的冷凝水后，重新浮起，关闭活门而停止排水。从浮杯开始上浮，直到活门关闭时止，杯内水面始终高于套管的末端，因此蒸汽不会逸出。在起动或烘热疏水阀时，先将排气活门开启，于是积聚在内之空气便迅速排除。关闭排气活门，疏水阀即进入正常工作。操作停止时，可拔开塞子以排尽内部冷凝水和沉积物。浮杯重量可用压杯物调节。优点是排水操作易控制，活动部分不致与外壳黏结。
