性质:存在特有的微缝的金属构件中缝内外组成的电池。在中性介质中,腐蚀刚开始时,氧去极化反应在构件各处(缝内、缝外)均匀进行。因滞流关系,氧只能以扩散方式向缝内传递,缝内的氧消耗后难以得到补充,缝内、外构成氧浓差电池,缝内缺氧为阳极占随着阴、阳极分区,腐蚀继续进行,二次腐蚀产物在缝口形成,造成了闭塞条件,此时缝内外组成的电池称为闭塞电池。它的形成标志着腐蚀进入新的发展阶段。
