In Lugu Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant, the new type constructed wetland process—baffling wetland/lateral subsurface flow wetland was used for wastewater treatment.

That compound system was composed of vertical baffled wetland filter under anaerobic conditions and lateral subsurface flow wetland bed under facultative conditions.
