阿克巴陵又称“锡根德拉”（sikandra），位于阿格拉北方约 10公里处，始建于阿克巴大帝逝世前三年，后由其子查罕杰（jahangir，1605年-1627年）于1613年完成。17世纪末叶，因遭班达尔人侵袭，陵墓内的建筑惨遭破坏，遗留下来的古迹，寥寥无几。现在只留存地下室里的王陵，朴实简单。
陵墓前是一座高22.6米的巍峨大门，门上四角耸立着四个高达25.9米的塔楼。边上还有四个鼓楼。此墓是用回教及印度教建筑方法混合建成，也是由红砂岩砌成，四角衬以圆塔和白色的大理石，形成一灵秀完美的建筑。
