方式，是农业单一经营的对称。农业各生产部门之间，存在着密切的内在联系，如种植业能为畜牧业提供饲料，畜牧业能为种植业提供有机肥料;林业能够保持水土、调节气候，为农牧业生产提供良好的自然生态环境，而农牧业的发展又可以为林业发展创造有利的物质条件。同时，农业生产各部门对自然、经济条件的要求也往往很不一样。如种植业需要比较平坦和肥沃的田野，畜牧业能够较好地利用荒山草坡和干早的草原，而林业则可以更好地利用山坡地，种植蔬菜对资金、劳力投放的要求明显多于大田作物，不同作物对生产劳动的季节性要求有明显差别，等等。这些都是实行农业多种经营的客观依据。实行多种经营的作用在于经济有效地发挥各种资源的潜力，较好地满足人们对农产品的需要，并取得较好的经济效果、生态效果和社会效果。 多种经营可分为自然经济性质的多种经营和具有专业化方向的多种经营两种。前者的经营项目主要是根据生产者自身生活需求而定，如一般农区多数侧重于粮食生产，牧区侧重于奶、肉生产。由于它基本上是自给自足的经济，往往不能更充分地利用自己的自然、经济优势，发挥各部门之间的互补互促作用，劳动生产率不高，有时还甚至是不讲经济效益的。后者基本上是商品性生产。这种经营方式，既能较有效地发挥各地的自然、经济优势，又能使各生产部门互补互促，从而能真正发挥农业多种经营的应有的效果。现在，世界上的许多国家和地区，包括一些经济比较发达的国家和地区，都采取这种经营方式。在生态环境越来越被人们重视以及能源比较紧张的情况下，即使一些曾经普遍实行高度商品化的单一经营的国家，也开始认识到应该改变这种状况。 随着社会商品经济的发展，自然经济性质的多种经营必然逐步地向具有专业化方向的多种经营转变。这种转变，通常是在经营者的微观利益和社会的宏观利益协调的情况下，根据市场需要和自身最有利的自然、经济条件，确定和发展主要部门的，而其他的部门则按照有利于促进主要部门的发展，更好地利用主要部门的副产品和获得额外的商品产品，更充分地利用土地和劳力资源等要求确定的。 中国的土地等自然资源比较复杂，即使在小范围内差异性往往也较大;农村劳动力资源和生物资源比较丰富;多年来自然生态环境破坏比较严重，农村资金、能源也比较紧张。因此，实行有一定专业化方向的多种经营方式，发挥农业内部有机循环的作用，对有效地利用农村的现有资源、发展商品生产，具有现实意义。(邓泽辉)农业多种经营(diversified eeonomy inagricult盯e)在一个农业生产单位或农业地区内，同时经营多种生产部门(或生产项目)的农业生产
