整体咨询(holistie eounseling)一种以追求心身“完满”为目标的咨询方法，由伍德森(Wo。dson，WB.)于1975年在阿利伽研究所(AriCa Institute)提出。该理论认为，当我们能自我保护躯体、人际关系及和外界的一脚调处于平衡和满足时，健康和“自然的自我”就会产生。其具体的技术为:(l)澄清过程(elariflcation proeess)。主要帮助病人理解心理结构的作用，解决情绪冲突和他们的不当的经验，钊析病人的信仰系统，了解行为模式及其在生活中的作用。在这过程中，还要进行心理清扫(psyehie eleaning)，即消除病人由于过去的创伤事件而产生的不适。(2)坐禅、放松肌肉。释放身体中的紧张，清除毒素，恢复思维和行动的灵活性。(3)运动。通过一些心理健美操如瑜伽、太极拳等增加身体的灵活性，恢复和维持身体与心理的平衡，增加活力，使内心获得平静。(4)松弛。如用简单的深呼吸作放松练习。(5)入静。可用下述三种方法入静以激活体内的治疗能量:重复字或短语;使用合适的躯体姿势以接受正性情绪;用视觉化和视符号激活身体的自然治疗能力。(6)营养。注重食物结构，包括食物选择、准备、配置、添加、保存、补充等。整体咨询可用于个体和集体，成人和青少年，也可用于夫妻、家庭。对于高血压、关节炎、结肠炎、心脏病等心身疾病有效。对境遇性抑郁、紧张性头痛及焦虑症等亦有效。 (徐云撰梁宝勇彭聆龄审)
