为铁角蕨科植物北京铁角蕨的全株。
【植物形态】
北京铁角蕨 多年生草本，高8～20厘米.根状茎短而直立，顶部密生披针形鳞片。叶簇生，叶柄淡绿色，向上到叶轴下部疏生纤维状小鳞片；叶片长圆披针形，草质，长6～12厘米，中部宽2～3厘米，无毛，2回或3回羽裂，羽轴和叶轴两侧都有狭翅；基部羽片略短，中部羽片长0.9～2厘米，三角状矩圆形；末回裂片顶端有2～3个尖齿。孢子囊群每裂片1枚，成熟时往往布满叶下面，囊盖群近矩圆形，全缘。 生于溪边岩石上。分布长江以南及华北、西北地区。
【采集】
四月采挖带根全草，洗净，晒干。
【性味】
甘微辛，性温。
【功用主治】
化痰止咳，利膈，止血。治感冒咳嗽，肺结核，外伤出血。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，2～3钱(大剂可用1两)。外用：研粉调敷。
【选方】
治咳嗽：地柏枝五钱至一两，金背枇杷果二至三钱。水煎代茶饮。
