Objective To obtain 3-D digital data and rosin models of contralateral ears of patients with congenital microtia ear via applying reverse engineering (RE) technique and rapid prototyping (RP) technique.

Rapid low cost development approach was provided based on two-phase flow(water and solid) simulation integrated RP(rapid prototyping)/RT(rapid tooling) technology,assistant design and development of new type emitter,contract to traditional development method,not only guaranteed emitter the high anti-clogged performance,but also its development costs and the cycle are lower of over 70 %.
