盘石头水库河槽段趾板基岩建基面下8m为相对不透水层,如按常规进入不透水层5m设计帷幕,深度只有13m左右,对100m高坝而言,深度偏浅,为安全考虑,帷幕设计为悬挂式帷幕,主帷幕深度按1/3坝高考虑,穿透隔水层,隔水层以上以一排主帷幕和两排副帷幕防渗,隔水层以下以一排主帷幕防渗。

geshu!eeng隔水层(in、permeable layer)重力水不能自由透过的岩、土层。致密的岩石和空隙细小的岩石，在常温常压条件下都是隔水层。隔水层对地下水运动起阻隔作用6为合理开发利用地下水，或者为正确评价矿床水文地质条件、确定采矿方法，必须查明隔水层的岩性、厚度、稳定性和隔水程度。隔水层和含水层是相比较而存在的，应结合生产目的而划分。 (蒋建明)
